Центр діалогу “Іскра” шукає учасників для семінару в Іспанії. Дедлайн – 11 серпня.
What are you going to do if you observe a discrimination on youth/volunteer projects or even public space? Will you be blocked, stuck or maybe emotionally reacting? Let’s discuss this topic! On a new project of SCI Madrid we will promote civil courage, solidarity and tools for safe and successful interventions. Everybody are welcome to apply! ?

?Objectives of the seminar
✅Sharing best practices and methods for intervening in discriminatory situations in youth and volunteering projects projects
✅ Identifying and discussing which situations in youth and volunteering projects need intervention and which need other kinds of responses from facilitators
✅ Exchanging tools to make young people become more proactive in standing up for victims of discrimination in public spaces
✅ Creating a guide for youth and volunteering organisations to be used in trainings of facilitators of youth projects (e.g. camp coordinator trainings)
✅ Creating a first draft of recommendations for institutionalized responses to discrimination within SCI projects and other volunteering projects (e.g. recommendation to be voted on at EPM 2020)

? Who can participate?
Active youth workers (18+) and people related to the topic with no age limit.
? Can speak English fluently;
? Interested in the topic;
? Willing to fully participate in all the activities.
? How much does it costs?
Organizers cover:
? 100% of expenses for food and accommodation;
? Up to 100% travel reimbursement according to the budget limit.
Participant covers:
? Сharitable fee to Iskra – 35 Euro.
