Річне волонтерство в Ерфурті

Young Europeans especially need to learn how to identify and emphasise with one another. One of the ways to do it is to experience life in a different community, while doing a voluntary service. Therefore, in order to steam community cohesion, which will ensure stability and peace in Europe, CGE Erfurt e.V. has developed “Community Goes Europe 2: Building Solidarity Across the Nations”. The project will give young people across Europe new opportunities to engage in solidarity activities addressing societal challenges and strengthening communities. Four volunteers will be placed in Erfurt, Germany in CGE Erfurt e.V. and by supporting the organisation will acquire the skills and competences needed for their own personal and professional development at the beginning of their careers.
The volunteers will be accommodated in a comfortable, fully equipped shared-flat, 10 min walking distances from the office. The food allowance is give to the volunteers every month, based on the Erasmus+ regulations. The volunteers will be provided with the bikes to travel around the city. Both flat and the office are centre-located, so it is also possible to reach everything by foot.

The project is funded by the Erasmus+ Programme. All expenses for visa, insurance, accommodation, food and international travel costs are fully covered. The volunteer will also receive pocket money monthly. Also language courses will be provided.
Requirements:
- Age 18 – 30 years
- Interested in the topic of the project
- Intermediate level of English and German and motivation to acquire necessary working language skill.
CGE is ready to welcome young motivated people, who have interest/experience in the following areas: – Youth work (those, who are interested in civic education, European politics and culture, democratic culture, human rights education, intercultural & inter-religious encounters) – Media and content creation (who are keen with photography/video-making & social media management); – IT and web development (as many of our project are related to the digital world); – Organisational management (supporting office and project managers). We value such skills as time management, team work.
