The Council of Europe’s Directorate of Youth and Sport proposes a seminar aiming at furthering the exchange of experiences amongst young asylum seekers and refugees and youth workers active in this field. The experiences of the past course, the network and current developments in Europe will be taken into account, and the experience of new participants will feed into the overall work of the Council of Europe on the issue. Previous recommendations, networking and ideas shall be further developed and deepened.

EYP-Ukraine calls for young and active young Ukrainians aged between 16 and 20 to take part in the National Selection.

The event will be focused on the issue of Human Rights and will take place on 18-21 September 2008 in Kyiv. During four-days session 100 delegates from all over Ukraine will be competing for places in Ukrainian delegations to two international sessions – in Rennes (France) in autumn 2008 and in Stockholm (Sweden) in spring 2009.

The Master’s Program in Economic and Public Policy Management (PEPPM),the successor to the Master’s Program in Policy Management (1995-2008), is a trans-disciplinary program at the University of Tsukuba aimed at young professionals in developing and transition economies.

Basic information about "German and European Studies":

* Friedrich Schiller University (FSU) Jena together with National University of "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy" (NaUKMA) conducts a two-year Masters Program. It is financed by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
* Successful participants receive a "double diploma", both a Masters Degree of NaUKMA and of FSU Jena. Therefore, the Program does not only take place at NaUKMA in Kyiv (for one and a half year) but also at FSU in Jena/ Germany (for half a year).

Громадська організація "Internationale Journalisten-Programme" реалізовує Міжнародну стипендіальну програму графини Меріон Дьонхофф для молодих журналістів із країн СНД. Програма спрямована на надання молодим талановитим журналістам із країн СНД можливості знайомства з Німеччиною. У рамках двомісячного стажування в одному з німецьких ЗМІ вони одержать уявлення про політичні й економічні зв'язки між країнами СНД і Німеччиною, познайомляться зі способом життя, культурою й журналістськими стандартами у ФРН. Як мінімум 8 молодим журналістам буде дана можливість працювати редактором-стажистом в одному з німецьких ЗМІ.
