German Language Training Course

The Europa-Kolleg Kassel e.V. is organizing a four-week German language training course for youth workers.in Kassel, Germany, for speakers level A2/B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (self-assessment of your level).

The course combines language training with topics of the Council of Europe (i. e. European Community/Council of Europe; Human Rights and Human Rights Education; Intercultural Learning). Participants will also be introduced in the German youth working system and be given the oppurtunity to visit several institutions.

When? 2010: 25th July (arrival) – 21st August (departure)

(Course starts on Monday and ends on Friday)

Seminar fees for invited participants: € 115,00 (€ 100,00 seminar fees, € 15,00 bank fees) per participant to be transferred to the account of Europa-Kolleg until 15th July. Please note: Your application is not valid until this fee is transferred.

Seminar fees (covered by the German Ministry of Youth and Education) cover all expenses related to programme and accommodation.

What is included: German language course in the morning (Monday to Friday, in the whole about 100 hours, books and materials included). The programme contains a range of activities related to the course aims: visits in local youth organizations, workshops and project groups, guided tours
